I have fallen in love with MCR, AKA My Chemical Romance all over again.
And for it's for real this time.
It started with blasting "Life On The Murder Scene" songs in Siaw Ee's room on Wednesday after dinner. I mean, they're mostly LIVE unedited soundtracks; pure unadulterated MCR.
At Ghost Of You, LSE giggled. "He's moaning into the mike!" she squealed. I rewound the track and listened carefully. True enough, he (Gerad Way, lead singer and frontman of the band) was. ^^
I was listening to MCR on the way to guitar lesson just now, and had the brilliant idea of asking my teacher to teach me Desert Song.
Please note the sacarsm.
My guitar teacher is NOT an MCR fan. He listened to Desert Song and said
"I don't like this band (despite knowing how to play Disenchanted) . They try too hard to be different." He points to the scrawl of chords I had written down while he listed them out. "Look. The chords are all over the place."
Pfft. MCR still rocks. I'll figure out how to pay the song on my own.
He went through my playlist and found Kamelot. "Wow, you listen to Kamelot?"
"No, it's just a song one of my friends dumped on me." (One of the advantages of having a 4GB iPod Nano. I can dump as many songs as I want. Sometimes I make discoveries.)
He clicks it and sees the title. "The Haunting" . "You have one of their softest songs," he says, smirking. I swear, he was smirking.
When I come home, I go to Youtube and on some wild impulse, typed in Gerad Way.
Gerad singing "Umbrella". ^^
The hottest Gerad Way interview ever. I SWEAR. He could play Edward Cullen FAR better than Robert Pattinson, even though Gerad happens to be 10 years older. XD I love his hair.
Meh. I wanna chew gum. ^^
And I found a link to the opening song of December 11. In case you don't know, that was the Singapore MCR concert held at Max Pavilion. And the person compiled a playlist of the songs played that night. I'm pretty sure it's accurate. :D

"The Black Parade Is Dead" CD/DVD is coming out on July 1. Me WAAAAAANT. (See the second picture on top. I just can't seem to be able to shift it down...) It's going to be better than Life On The Murder Scene, I know it is.
