I'm not putting anything of myself in here.
You'll get quite enough of that from reading my blog.

.wishes.

Did wishing upon a falling star work anyway? I'll be brief I WANT MY HAPPY EVER AFTER Sometimes I wish I was a Twilight character Not that I like the book; at least I know I'll be assured of a perfect ending

Unless of course, I was James, Laurent, Victoria or any one of the baddies. In that case, I just want A happy ending

Not much time to post now. Will put up photos when I get back to Singapore.

    I'm back in England, it's 11.30 now.

    ...

I am never taking Singapore's wonderful transport system for granted EVER again.

It took us practically the entire day to get from Orleans (A part of France) to Portsmouth. (A part of England.)

On the first day, it took us ONE AND A HALF HOURS to drive from Heathrow airport to Portsmouth.

In Singapore, it would take half an hour to get from Changi airport to say... Orchard. Oh wait. Less, because of the MRT; it's a direct line I think.

It's freaking cold; for some reason, my hands are always the only part of my body that feels cold. It gets so bad that I can't even play the piano right; my fingers are forever slipping off the keys.

It's very beautiful though. I feel like tearing up all my autumn pictures; when I first saw the trees that still have red and gold leaves I felt like crying. I didn't even come close to portraying them. T_T

Paris was wonderful. It's all so pretty and elegant there.

Went to the Lourve. Yep, saw the Mona Lisa. It's not easy to miss, since there's ALWAYS a huge crowd in front of it snapping photos. I still think that people are making a huge fuss over nothing. So she's smiling. So da Vinci carried her around everywhere. So??? Maybe he just liked it.

Anyway, it's prettier than I thought it was, since I saw the colours properly for the first time. Hung around at the back of the crowd for a while, then looked at the other paintings.

Virgin of the Rocks is really nice, it remains my favourite painting by da Vinci.

It's sad how some better (My opinion anyway) paintings are overshadowed by others, just because they're painted by some particular painter. Anyway, the favourite one I saw was La Jeunne Martyre, 1885, by Paul Delaroche. http://www.angelfire.com/il2/rapsk714/page14.html
If you can find a better picture of it, please leave the link on the tag board. Such a nice painting...

So spent 10 days in France altogether, stayed in 3 different houses. We stayed in the Versailles and St Germain quarters of Paris, and Orleans. The palaces (Versailles and Lourve) are EXTREMELY elaborate, gold leaf and marble everywhere. I thought Versailles was luxurious, but it was nothing compared to the Lourve.

We were at this French wedding on Saturday.
    Wow.
Started at 2 pm, ended at 5am the next day. We left around 2am.

It was a huge affair. There were fireworks; it took place in three different locations, one of them being a castle, (I didn't take any photos of the wedding tho, slipped my mind).

The dinner started about 9pm and ended at 2am. There was a magician going around, singers (The bride was a soprano, y'know for opera?) and all these waiters, offering champagne, sparkling water, wine etc. They didn't seem to notice I was underage. I tried the champagne, and hated the taste. Urgh.

Will update properly when I have the time. I have 20 emails and 403 deviations (on DevART) to go through. Gah...
