The title says it all.

On Friday, I persuaded my mom to buy the VCD. (Unfortunately, I didn't notice that the subtitles were Chinese, so I had to watch it in Chinese, as I don't read fast enough.)

Boy, did I regret it.

It SUCKED! I mean, come on, how did it get so popular???? I expected more action, more blood, more violence. But NOOO, more than 50% of the show was about the fat men in their buisness suits sitting around, TRYING TO FIGURE OUT WHO THE HECK KIRA IS!!!!!

Couldn't they trace his handphone or something? I mean, L and plenty of other girls knew his number and could SMS him, right? (Am I wrong?) Well, it was a complete waste of time and money. Both Light and L aren't cute. (Get's hit by a brick from a shrieking fangirl.)

Well, I'm entitled to my own opinions.

Another thing. On Saturday, I went to the arcade at Bugis with my friends and almost spent $15 on the games. (Gimme a break, I haven't been to an arcade for years.) House of the Dead 4 was sooo confusing compared to House of the Dead 2, which is the only one I've played. And most of my money went to Soul Calibre 3.

Taki, Talim, Cassandra and Xiang Hua (From Soul Calibre3) ROCK! WOOT!
Taki can use a one handed sword, and is really acrobatic. Her kicks are awesome. Bam, bam, you're down! (Gah! I'm hooked!) And in the Xbox game, she can jump around. (Wish my class could be that acrobatic for our cheerleading competition.) But her skintight costume sucks. In the Xbox game, it's red and it's black in the arcade.

Talim uses twin daggers, and the wind. I remember reading her people grew up worshipping some wind spirit... So it's probably holy to them. She's powerful and fast, and can leap at her opponents, forcing them back. First time I played I used her and won 7 rounds in a row! (Couldn't beat Inferno.) Her costme is pretty nice, not showing anything. (Are the guys disapointed?)

Cassandra is more Western. (Well duh, you can tell from her name?) She uses a sword and a round shield, and kind of reminds me of someone in Final Fantasy. (I have no idea who.) In the Xbox game, she keeps saying "Sophita" who, I take is someone who's died. Then I found out Sophita is one of the characters in the arcade game you can play.

Xiang Hua is pretty annoying. She's pretty, and her costume is sweet, but she keeps going "I hate you! Huh!" And throws down her sowrd with that stupid expression on her face. Her sowrd moves I like. I have this habit of spinning the sword in a full circle, and when the opponent's "flying" in the air, I hit them. Hard. Several times. :D

Mei Xin was going on about how I could beat them up harder and faster if I was the one actually doing the beating. I agree. :P I mean, the characters can be so slow sometimes, and they dont hit the opponent at the precise position you want them to. Which is why I want the Nintendo Wii, if they come up with such a game.

I watched Just Follow Law. I highly recommend you watch it. It's better than I Do I Do / 我爱我爱 (Released 2005) and 三个好人 / One More Chance (Released 2005 I think.) and I Not Stupid Two ,or else known as 小孩不笨. I mean, LOL! it was so weird and the ending.... Ok, if I say anything more I will give away the complete shock, and ruin your pleasure at watching it. :D
I give it 5 stars.
